CRIMINAL RECORD CERTIFICATE
Documents and Forms
The criminal record register contains all criminal law convictions and is managed centrally by the Department of Police Records. The criminal record certificate is a document detailing either all of a person’s registered convictions or stating that there are no such convictions.
Apostille
An apostille is an internationally recognized form of notarization and ensures that public documents issued in one country will be recognized as valid in another country. It must either be attached as an annex to the official document or placed on the document itself by means of a stamp.
Fee Schedule
Some of the services provided by the Austrian Embassies and Consulates are subject to fee, the Law on Consular Fees (Konsulargebührengesetz 1992) being the legal basis.
The Appointment
At your appointment we will verify your documents.
Note: if you don’t have all the requirements on the day of your appointment you will have to schedule a new appointment. NO COPIES can be made at the Consulate!
